Once again businesses and organizations will have the opportunity to promote themselves, as well as help brighten downtown for the season with their own unique lighted display in the park. What your display will be is entirely up to you. Reserved locations are available for $25, $35 or $50, depending on their placement in the park. In previous years that park lighting has been the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but it has been moved back a week to December 5th in partnership with the return of the Holiday Lighted Parade. Main Street Charles City, which puts on the parade, will also be assisting with this year’s holiday lighting display effort in the park. A holiday fireworks show will take place over the Main Street Bridge around 6:15-6:30 p.m.
