Description

Groups or teams of youth interested in laser tag and working alongside soldiers on room clearing or force-on-force games are being invited to a special event on August 6th, from 1 - 5 pm. 

Hosted by the Iowa Army National Guard Unit 194 in Charles City. The last hour will feature a rotation through three different stations: 1) Target Identification: using binos/LLDR/Vectors to identify different targets 2) Virtual Battle Simulation and 3) Radio and Map reading. Soldiers will provide a map reading class and have kids read coordinates over the radio and see if they can accurately describe where they are located on a map. Please pre-register by August 1. Waivers will be required for all attendees.
