Looking for a fun activity for the whole family? The Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce is creating a new event just for you! In fact, it’s a full day of fun with three different offerings that almost all ages can take advantage of together. The Chamber is partnering with Bayou Bend Mini Golf to offer a Family Mini Golf Fun Day on Saturday, June 22nd. It all starts at 10 a.m. with a Family Best Shot Tournament on the 8-hole mini golf course, with a chance to win prizes, as well as take part in door prize and raffle drawings. The cost is $25 for a family of up to four people, with additional players able to be added for $5 more each. Then at 1:30 p.m., there will be a Hole-in-One Contest on the miniature golf course. Participants can try their luck with one shot on each of the 18 holes, and even use their own personal putter if they wish. This competition is open to all ages, with a $5 per person fee to play and a chance to again win prizes and take part in raffle and door prize drawings. Finally, at 3 p.m., there will be an 18-hole Mini Golf Two-Person Best Shot Tournament. Teams can consist of two adults, an adult and child, or two children, with a fee to play of $20 per team. Participants will have a chance to win cash prizes, along with an opportunity to take part in the raffle and door prize drawings. There will be food vendors on hand throughout the day and the nearby batting cages will also be available to use and enjoy.
