Come to Taste and enjoy a savory brunch followed by a conversation with President Harry Truman. Tim Niess has been performing his interpretation of President Truman since 1980 across the states of Iowa and Minnesota. His research comes from the many books about Truman and the play “Give ‘Em Hell Harry!” Mr. Truman will keep you entertained in a fast paced banter about his early years as a boy in Grandview, Missouri, getting into politics, and life as President of the United States. The President will also be taking questions following his presentation. Brunch will begin at 10:45 A.M. with staggered reserved seating until noon. President Truman (aka Tim) will begin mingling and speaking at 12:15, and you can enjoy his interactive banter from your dinner table! Reservations are required; cost of the brunch and the show are $45/adult and $20/child. (Bar drinks/alcohol/and gratuity not included.) Reservations can be made online here.
