On stage this evening will be The Sons of Gladys Kravitz. The band is a classic rock cover band, featuring deep tracks from albums of heroes such as The Beatles, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones and PinkFloyd, to name a few.
Fun fact about The Son’s of Gladys Kravitz: Following the 1992 release of guitarist Wade Krieg's debut album of original music, "All in a Day's Work," he and bassist/guitarist Mick Polich formed a largely acoustic performing duo called Gladys Kravitz, a name Mick came up with and an homage to the nosy neighbor in the 1960's sitcom Bewitched. Those familiar with the show will recognize that Gladys was always catching Samantha doing magic, but she was never able to convince anyone else of what she saw. Admission to the park is free. Bring your own lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. Food and beverages are available for purchase throughout the evening with Party in the Park’s Token currency. Tokens may be obtained from the “Token Table” near the center of the park or from volunteers in red aprons stationed throughout the park during the events. Tokens are also available at the Community Development Office at 401 N. Main Street, Monday-Friday from 9a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The concluding Party in the Park of the 2026 season will be August 7 and feature the band “Retrospect with Jana West.”
