Description
Celebrate and enjoy the Fourth of July festivities in Charles City from July 3rd through 6th, hosted by the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce. Each day features free live music and entertainment, along with activities, a beer garden, and a variety of food vendors.
On Wednesday, July 3rd, a live DJ and a captivating drum band performance by Sheltered Reality is on tap. Inflatable obstacle courses and bounce houses will be available at no cost for children of all ages following the Kids Day festivities that morning.
On Thursday, July 4th, the Fourth of July Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. Get ready to get groovy with the return of the vibrant cover band, Bad Dog 20/20. A watermelon eating contest will be hosted in Central Park during the day, along with a cornhole tournament.
Enjoy a fireworks show by the Cedar River in the evening.
Main Street Charles City will be hosting a Party in the Park on Friday, July 5th, featuring a country band with Mike Bernard.
Then wrap up the festivities on Saturday, July 6th with a sand volleyball tournament, a magician show, a hotdog eating contest, and groove to the fun and upbeat tunes of the band BPM.
