Nominations are now being accepted for the Charles City Man of the Year, Woman of the Year and Caught in the Act award winners, to be honored at this year’s Community Volunteer Recognition Event later this spring. The Man and Woman of the Year awards honor someone who has truly gone the extra mile in their career and/or lives to help make Charles City a great place to live, work and play through their outstanding community service.

The Caught in the Act Award is for people nominated who were seen this past year doing a selfless act to help others or to make their community better. It could be for picking up litter in a public place, shoveling out a neighbor in need, etc. If you saw them, you can nominate them!

Nomination forms must be received back no later than 5 p.m. on April 3, 2023.
