Independence Day Parade

Description

Annual downtown parade on the morning of the Fourth of July, organized by the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce.

The parade route will travel from 13th Avenue to North Grand, down North Main Street, cut right on Clark Street, right again onto North Jackson Street all the way up to Lane Street where it will end.

Time

Parade lineup begins at 8 a.m., with parade entry judging at 10 a.m. Parade begins at 10:30 a.m.

Pricing

Parade entry fees are $10 for non-profit groups, $15 for Chamber members and $25 for non-Chamber members. If you want more than two vehicles or a truck & trailer, it is $5 more for each and you must notify the Chamber prior to July 1st so the lineup spacing can be adjusted accordingly.
