Enjoy a memorable outing with family or friends in Charles City this holiday season with a horse-drawn wagon ride with none other than Santa Claus! The Main Street Charles City program is offering Rides With Santa on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19-20, from 4-7 p.m. each day. The 15-20 minute rides will depart from Central Park at the corner of Kelly and North Jackson streets. Enjoy the holiday spirit and lights during this open-air wagon ride, which begins and ends at the park which is also lit up with the various Santa’s Shining Lights displays. In addition, Mrs. Claus will be in the Santa House in the middle of the park from 4-7 p.m. reading stories and handing out treats. Rides are $5 per person, or rent out the entire wagon for a private ride of up to 11 people for $60.

Time

4-7 p.m. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time and check in at the corner of North Jackson and Kelly Street. The Santa House will be open in the park with Mrs. Claus reading stories and passing out treats to children.
